Exploring Local Lore: Dive into the Fun of Trivia Nights!

Looking for something fun to do to help you beat those winter blues? Harrisonburg is home to numerous weekly trivia nights!

Picture this: a lively gathering of neighbors and friends, armed with nothing but their wits and a sprinkle of competitive spirit, all huddled together under the warm glow of café lights. Laughter echoes across the room as teams delve into the depths of local lore, unraveling mysteries and uncovering quirky facts about our beloved hometown. From history buffs to pop culture aficionados, smarty-pants to lovable dummies; there's a place for everyone in the tapestry of trivia nights.

So pick one of our great local trivia spots to grab a seat, sharpen your pencils, and let the games begin! Read on for all the local trivia night round-up details!

Tuesdays

Friendly Fermenter 

From 7-9pm | Join The Friendly Fermenter for some "lite", easy going trivia. 4 rounds only, typically one being a weekly house theme round (with the rest brought to you by Pub Trivia Nerds!) | Teams are encouraged but not required | Get your spot early and enjoy some fun, brews, and perhaps some bar bites!

Clementine 

From 8-10pm | For teams of up to 6 | Compete for glory, swag and prizes!

Wednesdays

Pale Fire Brewing Co. 

Beginning at 8pm | Hosted by Geeks Who Drink | Participants can play solo or form a team of up to 6. | Each quiz consists of seven rounds of eight questions each, in a variety of formats, including audio and visual rounds. Bonus questions sprinkled throughout the quiz will net participants additional goodies. | All questions are answered via phone, so make sure someone comes arrives with a full charge! | Taproom is open and typically full for dinner, participants should arrive after 7 for seating. | Free to play!

Thursdays

Island Wing Company Grill & Bar 

From 7-9pm | Hosted by Geeks Who Drink | Bring your friends and earn some prizes! | (Students get 20% off food & drinks—excluding alcohol—with college ID)

Sage Bird Ciderworks

From 8-10pm | Free to play and winning teams (1st, 2nd, & 3rd place) get prizes! | Teams required—up to 6 people per team. | Sage Bird offers a variety of cider, wine, cocktails and mocktails, plus indoor and outdoor seating options. | Outskirts Food Truck will also be there—offering hot sandwiches, loaded fries & more! From 5-10pm.

Saturdays

Brothers Craft Brewing

From 7-8:30pm | Saturdays twice per month—check their event page for upcoming dates. |  Participants can compete alone or with a team of up to 6. | Teams must be signed up before 7pm start time. | 4 rounds and bonus round that includes a prize, plus the final question of the night. Points are awarded each round, and will then be wagered for the final question giving everyone a chance to win! | Themes change each week!
