Fall is a wonderful season. It brings cooler temperatures, crisp air, changing colors, football, the smell of wood smoke, pumpkins, and corn mazes! Be sure to check out Hess Corn Maze, located on the Northwest end of Harrisonburg. Their opening day is this Saturday, August 29th, and they are open throughout September and October.

Hess Corn Maze has taken great care in planning some great special events this year! They have partnered with WKCY to do a fundraiser for Mercy House in the form of a Children’s Costume Contest.  Also, their maze design this year is all about Harrisonburg, and the downtown retail merchants are partnering with them by offering a coupon booklet to those who find the exit of the maze.

Have a large group to entertain? Hess Corn Maze takes reservations for large groups and field trips, and even has tips on their site for planning your visit.

Take advantage of all the Fall fun that Harrisonburg has to offer… watch pumpkins fly, tackle the challenge of the corn maze, and join in on some contests to support great causes and maybe even win some goodies! Watch a video about this farm here.
