Mashita: It’s Delicious Downtown
We've loved the fresh and delicious food that Mashita has been serving up from their food truck—and we couldn't be more excited about their new brick-and-mortar restaurant that just opened on the corner of W. Elizabeth and Liberty Streets. Thanks to their catering manager Jennifer Nelson for answering some of our questions!
Harrisonburg Veterans Day Parade with the HHT
The annual Veterans Day celebration in downtown Harrisonburg is always a special treat and an honor to be a part of. Our Team will be handing out flags along the parade route for the community beginning at 1pm. We will also set out chairs in front of our office at 83 S. Main Street (prime parade watching real estate) and we invite you to come and watch the parade with us starting at 2pm. Join us Sunday November 10th!
Coffee with a Cause: Just Java Coffee & Tea
There's a new coffee shop in town and we couldn't be more excited to welcome Grant Serrels (manager/head barista) to the corner of E. Market and Main St right on Court Square. Although compact in size, Just Love Coffee & Tea offers a wide variety of choices including lattes, macchiatos, hot chocolate, and London fogs. They keep it local and use Chestnut Ridge Coffee Roasters as their source for coffee beans, another new face to the coffee scene in the Burg...oh! and don't forget their selection of hot teas.
Wilson Downtown Gallery: Interplay: Painting and Pottery
We are excited to welcome abstract artist Robert Bersson and potter Bobbie Greer to the Gallery for October and November! Come see their join show entitled Interplay: Painting and Pottery. Join us! >>>
Timeless Toys: Welcome to Downtown!
We'd like to send a warm welcome out to the newest business to join Agora Downtown Market on Main Street in Harrisonburg: Timeless Toys. You might be familiar with the name, since they have an established store at the Shenandoah Heritage Market. They offer quality made toys perfect for creative play for ages young and old. Read more about owner Wes Dunlaps' hopes for their new second location and some of his favorite toys.
