Freedom Freeze Italian Ice has moved into the old Dream Cone location right on Court Square in downtown Harrisonburg. Owned and operated by the same people as Freedom Funnel Cakes, this establishment is Veteran owned and operated and serves Gino's authentic Italian Ice from Brooklyn, New York. Vegan Friends rejoice! Their Italian Ices are 100% vegan! Want something a bit creamier of a treat? They also serve Garber's traditional ice cream! The owner and Marine Corp veteran Mel Shtanko was kind enough to share some more about the newest frozen treat in town!
Harrisonburg Real Estate Market Report: July 2018 [INFOGRAPHIC]
Pending listings have shot up to 139 in July, which is 19% more than last July. New listings have fallen slightly (but only by 3%), however the average days on market continue to drop (down 9% from last year) and the average price per square foot is on the upswing by 6% as compared to year-to-date 2017. New on the Block: Water Street Vintage & Bohemian
Water Street Vintage & Bohemian is opening on August 13th in the previous location of the Midtowne Bottle Shop on Water Street in downtown Harrisonburg. This shop offers a great variety of vintage clothing, a fun selection of hats, and unique jewelry (+ much more) all presented in a fun atmosphere. The owner, Mike Harlow, was kind enough to give us a sneak peek of his shop and share more about it.

New listings have fallen slightly (by 6%), but the average days on market continue to drop and the average price per square foot is on the upswing ($126 as compared to $119 from last June). The median sales price has shot up to $210,250 - 9% from 2017!
